The Colors of Grass

I have memories of myself as a tiny child sitting in the grass, tearing up clumps, and looking at it. I loved doing that and could entertain myself for what seemed like hours (from a toddler's perspective). I guess the experience stuck with me because here I am sharing photos of grass AGAIN. Prints, framed prints, and prints on canvas, metal, acrylic, etc.

Reeds, Digital Art Photography

What I love about this piece is the idea of showing multiple views of the same scene in one photograph. Now it evokes reeds rustling in the wind.

Prints, framed and unframed, and prints on canvas, metal or other items are available.

Misty Cottonwoods in Autumn, Photography

Misty Cottonwoods in Autumn, © 2015 Sheryl Karas

This is a multilayered photograph based on a shot I took of Cottonwood trees heavy with Mistletoe on a rainy day in Cottonwood, Arizona. There's a moodiness I don't normally express in this but I see a glimmer of hope left in the center.

This piece is available as a framed or unframed print or print on canvas or metal.

Sunshine and Rain, Digital Painting

Sunshine and Rain, © 2013 Sheryl Karas

This is a multi-layered photo-painting meant to show rain on an almost sunny day from the vantage point of deep inside the wild prairie grass. Perhaps an ant's point of view?

No original exists of this piece as it was created using digital techniques. Framed and unframed prints or prints on canvas or metal or on other items are available.
