This is my first experiment using oil pastel pencils and oil pastel. I have techniques for getting sort of fine lines with oil pastel using stumps but pencils are so much more efficient. This is yet another in what seems like an endless fascination with grasses and other wild meadow plants found along the nature path Paul and I walk down several times a week.
