Expressive Grevillea, Abstract Photography

I love exploring the abstract potential in nature photography. I shot this at the UCSC Arboretum. I believe it is called the Splendid Grevillea and its from Australia. Of course, it doesn't really look like this in real life. It's been altered for artistic effect in more than one editing program.
